Ghana defeats South Korea in a five-goal thriller for its first World Cup victory.

As a result of today's victory over South Korea on November 28, Ghana has increased its prospects of making the Round of 16 at the 2022 World Cup.
Mohammed Salisu of Southampton and Mohammed Kudus of Ajax scored goals for Ghana at halftime as they lead 2-0 over Portugal, who had had defeated them 3-2 in their initial group match.

After 61 minutes, leading scorer in his own league Cho Gue-sung leveled the match with two incredible headers in three minutes.
In a nail-biting match, Kudus' low left-footed strike gave the Black Stars the lead once more in the 68th minute and flew past goalie Kim Seung-Gyu.

Despite numerous Korean attempts well before the end of regulation, goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi kept Ghana's victory intact.

Following their victory over the Asian squad, Ghana, who is now second in Group H, will play Uruguay in their last group encounter while South Korea will square off against Portugal.
