Staff of Wizkid allegedly held prisoner in Abidjan after he did not show up for gig

Wizkid's staff is apparently being kept hostage after the well-known Afrobeats performer once again stood fans up at a recent performance in Abidjan.

Remember how WizKid was supposed to perform in Ghana on December 10 but did not show up?

On social media, this caused a commotion as some of his supporters demanded his arrest while others expressed their utter disapproval of him.

Following his absence, WizKid apologized and gave a justification for his inability to come.

The artist was supposed to perform, but according to recent reports, his staff is being kept prisoner in Abidjan as a result of his absence.

Twitter user @chisomnwoye1 claimed that "Wizkid staff members who had already arrived here are being held prisoner till he compensates for the mess he cause in Abidjan. It is the fan's disdain. He will then apologize in writing.
