Davido was criticized prior to a concert in Qatar by saying, "He should reject any offer until next year."
Davido Adeleke, a well-known Afrobeat singer, is under fire from a critic who disapproves of his plans to perform in Qatar.
This follows the news that the artist would perform at the Qatar 2022 World Cup's final ceremony.
A social media user going by the name Daniel Regha asserted that the artist would be best served by continuing to decline all engagements up to 2023.
The remark was made in reference to the singer's morning mood after losing his first child, Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The reviewer posted on Twitter, saying;
"I'm happy that Davido is feeling better, but I don't believe it's a wise option given that he already postponed his A.W.A.Y festival by one year. He should abide by his decision and decline any offers till next year. No offense," he wrote.
